Best place to go if you are an Eagles fan!

Visited Ventnor's to watch the Oscars. They had a great red carpet themed menu and really tasty best picture inspired cocktails. I had the La La Lemonade, and it was YUM! Quick and kind service. I would visit again for another fun viewing event.

Awesome chill bar that has some really great drinks.

The closest you can get to the "Cheers" experience where everyone knows your name in DC. It's hard to get the neighborhood pub feel in DC, and to get Wonderful service, tasty food, and tons of games? That's awesome.

Their homemade ranch is TO DIE FOR. Our server/bartender, Shae, was awesome. The food was great and has large portions. Will recommend!

When walking downstairs, it was two white guys in front of us and your doorman let them go I went behind them and he proceeded to call my friend and I back to card us. I didn't take offense to it I'm young but he told the Indian couple that he was carding to "you know since I did them" as if he was doing it only to "equal" while obviously discriminating against us. I at first thought it was the doorman but when I asked to speaker to the manager about the incident out walks the door man who is actually the owner of the bar. I guess this establishment and owner is participating in the trend of blatant discrimination against people of color. A young black girl and a black Muslim woman.This happened about 4 weeks ago but I forgot to finish the review.

Decent sports bar, good beer bottle selection.

Great food and atmosphere

Ventnor is a cozy bar with a college town feel. It's a great place to watch a game, especially for UNC fans. Their beer selection is adequate, and the food was surprisingly good.

They opened up early for us when our small group wandered in on a whim. Good selection, good food, kind and polite staff.

Food is great (nachos, thai peanut wings, smoked salmon and arugula grilled cheese, and fish tacos are some of the highlights for me)! The bar tenders take the time to know your name and are generally excellent conversationalists. Plenty of TVs and they take requests for your favorite sporting event. This is my go-to neighborhood bar!

Been a customer on & off for about 4yrs now. Scott, Abel, I hear Shelby's bck & can't think of my grl's name she's still gone, but the new hostess (for me) Oliva! is grt, also meet another guy (bartender) Sha (probably not spelling it rite) was amazing.. Scott & the Ventnor Sports Bar/Restaurant are still the spot!

Great beer selection. Great staff! Great food!

Went for a happy hour here and it was great! No frills, just great burgers (Only $5 on Tuesdays!) and drinks. There were a ton of great beers, and I was surprised that they actually had a few different types of cider. I think I found my new neighborhood spot :)

Favorite restaurant & bar in Adams Morgan. Great neighborhood spot where the employees all remember you, and even better food to go along with it. Try the short rib gruyere mac n cheese and/or the fish tacos.

Great ambiance. Also, trusts the process. Five stars!

I traveled the world taste testing nachos and Ventnor, by far, had the best nachos I ever tasted in my life.

Excellent service and food! Arrived around 5pm on a Wednesday and it was a little slow, not a sports fan so I am assuming it was not a game night. This made for a very nice and comfortable atmosphere. Very attentive staff who will never let drinks be empty. Food was delicious and came out very timely. I was nervous because it was a "sports bar" but just think Applebee's type atmosphere. Highly recommended overall!

Most family friendly place on this street.

The staff is attentive and able to answer whatever questions you may have. They have free popcorn and several TVs that can be adjusted to your liking. The best part about this place is their nachos. The ingredients are fresh and its a large enough portion to share with a small group.

Food gave both my boyfriend and I food poisoning. BAD food positioning. Do not recommend eating here.

Got the fish and chips and they both tasted exactly the same as in the same grease, which was on full display since the breading on the fish was quite thick. Fish tacos also ordered by our party were pretty much the same. Don't know what they do well food wise but it was decidedly unimpressive, even for a sports bar. Add to that the fact that they couldn't change the channels on three of the TVs around us (or so they said even tho nobody else was watching them) and I'm left wondering, is this really a sports bar?

It's a good spot. Taps are a bit weak but the bottle/can game is fairly solid. Didn't try the food thoug, so no opinion.

Always a great place to catch a game (hockey, football, college basketball). Tons of TVs both upstairs and down stairs. Food is good too, recommend the nachos!!

Food was good and the beer was beer. Great crowd on eagles game day.

I was in DC for work and stopped by this place on Sunday for the games, great atmosphere and food. After getting home and checking all my receipts and bank transactions turns out they just added extra $$ on top of what I tipped. Good food but watch your account afterwards, I wouldn’t go back, wouldn’t trust their staff, and wouldn’t recommend it.

Staff was attentive and pleasant. The speakers were a little loud where we were sitting and one of my beers was warm but otherwise enjoyable.

Went for Crab Night on 7/24. Their annual event definitely gets you your money's worth as they provide unlimited sides of corn bread, mac and cheese, corn on the cob and spinach bowls as well. Bar gives out free popcorn and the tots from the menu are awesome. Definitely worth checking out if you're going to watch any game they can usually accommodate for any sport..
